Rick Kelly received his Masters of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. Rick has
worked as a clinician for Butte County Behavioral Health for 5 years and has a private practice
that started in Chico, CA and has since moved his practice to Sacramento, CA. Rick is a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. Rick has provided compassionate and holistic care
to individuals with severe mental illness, facilitated/co-facilitated a variety of therapy groups
such as Men’s Issues, Self-compassion, Mindfulness Walking and Art Therapy group. Rick is
trained in EMDR by the Humanitarian Assistance Project and has utilized EMDR for individuals
with PTSD for 4 years.
Rick’s role at Dunamis is providing supervision for clinician’s seeking to become licensed
clinicians (therapists). Rick enjoys biking, quality time with friends and family, coffee shops,
reading, traveling and stand up comedy.
