Marguerite (Meg) Ferrell is a graduate from Touro University Worldwide with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, she has a Master’s degree in Counseling Ministry and a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from California Baptist University in Riverside, California. With over twenty years working and counseling in the church, prisons, in-hospital settings, and a year of clinical counseling experience, Meg has helped clients with addictions, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, shame/guilt, and other struggles. In addition, Meg has worked as a Social Worker with Children’s Social Services, has additional training for couples and trauma work, is a facilitator for Prepare and Enrich (a premarital/marriage counseling program), and is trained in EMDR counseling and brainspotting.
As a therapist, Meg is concerned about your whole person: your mind, body, and spirit. She desires to help you to resolve your concerns in a safe environment with empathy and compassion. Her goal is to offer you hope for today and an even brighter hope for the future, as you learn to overcome negative beliefs and harmful actions one step at a time. Meg currently does group counseling in the school system with SELPA and sees clients at the Market Street location.
