I am a behavioral technician. I have worked with kids for 6 1/2 years, ages from infant to eighth grade. I studied Early Childhood Education two classes shy of earning my associate degree. I have experience working with children on the spectrum, either ABA or in a school setting in a classroom. I am currently working towards earning my bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education to become a licensed credential teacher.
My hope is to learn ABA so I can use that while teaching. My passion is working with kids in the ABA field, or regular school setting kids are my passion in life. Prior to Dunamis, I worked at a small Charter School as a paraprofessional aid and after-school leader for two years and three consecutive school years. What I strive for in life is seeing children grow their tiny minds and achieve their goals. If I can just make one student’s day better before they go home to their lives, I know my job is done.
My goal is to grow at Dunamis in the ABA field, to learn new things to bring light, and to see all the victories along the way. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and boyfriend and watching my kids grow. I love the Ocean. It is my happy place where I let everything go. I also love shopping, and I am an animal lover. I have three birds, three turtles, six lizards, and two dogs. Raya is a lab/mastiff. We adopted her, and Loki is our fluff ball Miniature Australian Shepherd.
